Introduction

This half term, we are going to look at how the English initially but later the whole British nation became involved in India. What we found there, how we saw India and the way we changed our attitudes over time is in some ways similar at various points to the way previous empires have behaved. We will go on to look at the clashes that occurred and finally look briefly at the end of the British Empire in India.
